Atlanta Braves vs. San Francisco Giants (2:10 PM)

The Braves take on the Giants in a rubber match of this short 3 game series on Sunday afternoon. The Braves have been on a recent skid, after starting the year as the best team in baseball. Injuries have played a role, but the offense has really dipped this month. Specifically the last 10 games, they’re averaging just 2.9 runs per game, and they’ve gone just 3-7 in that span. With that in mind, the Braves are starting Chris Sale, who has been phenomenal this season, with a 2.3 ERA (4th in the MLB). He’s been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season.

The Giants offense hasn’t been anything to write home about all season. They have had a few hot streaks, but overall they are a bottom half offense. At the same time they trot out Robbie Ray who has been close to as good as Sale this season with a sub 3.5 ERA. The Giants have won 5 consecutive Robbie Ray starts as well.

Overall, we’ve got two great pitchers and two sub-par offenses who have been even worse as of late. Because of that we are going to look to the under here. I like both the game under and the first five under. Let’s split it into two bets. We’re going to go with 3 units on the first five, and 2 units on the game. I see a very low scoring, close game between these two teams today.

Official Pick: Braves/Giants 1st 5 Under 3.5 (+100) | Braves/Giants Under 7.5 (-110)

Play Rating: 3-Stars (1st 5) | 2-Stars (Game Under)
